Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have declared their separation, following 27 years of marriage, as confirmed by Page Six.Although they are no longer living as a couple, they continue to reside together under the same roof, as revealed by a source to People on Monday. As they navigate this new chapter in their lives, they maintain a cordial relationship while considering the future for themselves and their family. Requests for comments from representatives of the couple have not been immediately responded to by Page Six.
The 54-year-old star of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and her 53-year-old husband, Umansky, tied the knot in January 1996 and are parents to three daughters: Alexia, 27; Sophia, 23; and Portia, 15. Additionally, Richards has a daughter named Farrah Brittany, 34, whom she welcomed during her previous marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie. Brittany currently works as a real estate agent at Umansky’s brokerage, The Agency, which has been featured prominently in Netflix’s unscripted series “Buying Beverly Hills.”
The journey of Richards and Umansky’s relationship has been well-documented throughout their time on “RHOBH.” While filming Season 13 of the popular Bravo show this year, Richards disclosed to Page Six that her marriage had been a topic of discussion among some of her co-stars. The scrutiny began when a photo of her without her wedding ring surfaced, as she explained in an interview with us back in April.
“The whole thing started from a silly picture of me not wearing my ring,” she shared. When questioned about the absence of her diamond ring from Umansky, Richards clarified that it was due to two reasons. Firstly, concerns about rising crime rates influenced her decision not to wear such an extravagant piece of jewelry. Secondly, at the time the photo was taken, she had just finished a workout session at the gym, making it impractical to have the ring on.
Richards was likely referring to a snapshot captured in February as she left the gym, wearing blue leggings, a black tank top, and sneakers, all without her wedding ring. Despite the speculations surrounding their marriage, both Richards and Umansky maintained a composed stance and remained unfazed, even though they had faced difficulties in the past when their relationship was brought up by their fellow cast members.
