Have you observed a surge of spam messages on WhatsApp recently? The messaging app features a business account function, and as businesses catch on to this trend, it’s likely that people will start receiving communications about various products and services through WhatsApp.
Nonetheless, since many individuals utilize WhatsApp for personal use, these messages can become quite bothersome. How can one deal with this issue? Here’s an explanation from News18:
WhatsApp has streamlined the process of blocking and reporting bothersome spammers within the platform. Whether you’re using an iPhone, Android device, PC, or Chromebook, you can block and report WhatsApp accounts, as detailed in a report by Android Police.
Blocking someone from within the WhatsApp application is the most straightforward way to prevent them from sending you undesired messages, including spam. If you wish to block a contact or a business account on WhatsApp, just follow the steps outlined below.
