Enhancing the Shoe Buying Experience: Puma's 3D Web3 Launch

Puma, the footwear conglomerate, has introduced a cutting-edge 3D Web3 experience. This immersive encounter is accessible to everyone, although Puma Pass holders can enjoy exclusive advantages.

On June 13, Puma, the German footwear conglomerate, launched Black Station, a remarkable 3D metaverse experience. The developers describe Black Station as an experiential hub dedicated to product releases, designed to offer unparalleled access to Puma Pass nonfungible token (NFT) holders.

While the experience is open for exploration by all, only individuals who possess RB tokens, airdropped exclusively to Puma Pass holders, have the opportunity to purchase a digital “Rulebreaker” sneaker and claim two digital wearables. Currently, the RB tokens are valued at 0.0125 Ether.

RB token holders have the option to burn their tokens on Black Station from June 13 to June 20, enabling their parent wallet to access various product releases within the metaverse. The roadmap for Black Station indicates that additional general events and NFT drops are planned for this year, with events for 2024 still under development.

This captivating experience will be available until June 23. Despite exploring alternative chains, Puma has decided to maintain its presence on the Ethereum network. Moreover, users can purchase digital collectibles using credit cards in addition to connecting their wallets and utilizing ETH.

In February 2022, Puma made headlines when it registered an Ethereum Name Service domain and changed its Twitter name to Puma.eth. During that time, Puma had made investments in several NFT collections inspired by feline themes, including Cool Cats NFT, Lazy Lions, Gutter Cat Gang, and CatBlox.
